( unexpected βΒ her fingers around the fine parchment of the note, a lingering lady in her doorway, sweetly pink. isolde understand the energy like it's a first language to her, aroused woman on the tail end (or beginning) of kink. she opens the note. reads it. too fascinated not to bite the worm in front of her, even hopeful for a hook β isolde asks, is shown, kneels in the doorway, presses, and tastes. she does it all without thinking overmuch. she does it with an audience. she's a little ashamed, but mostly not. )
hello, armand. this is isolde. now i'm the one to give you thanks, and i can't help but wonder if we find ourselves in a cycle. not that it would be unpleasant β gratitude is a virtue.
do you have very sharp teeth? if that is a rude question, please ignore it.
it doesn't shock me β i saw the bite. vampires are new for me, though. my cardinal uncle would be speechless. men with teeth and hard hands, less new. is it not your preference, too?
i was. i always planned to become a nun, in my youth. it was the only thing i wanted. it didn't end up working out that way, but i still love the church, and God, as deeply as one's able. i was touched by your psalm.
Of a kind. The faith of my childhood was taken from me. Instead, I was raised to know the many wandering faiths of my Maker, who was half in love with theology, and later, my Masters. I served God for a long time as only a vampire can, an example of His justice and mercy, the Children of His misbegotten angel. We lived in the shadows to prove the generosity of His light. So we were told, and so we believed, for two centuries.
Now, I'm not sure. I reach for God in my own way. And there are many gods here, of course, walking among us.
